Help for a new stock/ NHRA racer

I just bought an NHRA stocker and am looking at the Division 4 and 5 races coming up. I do not have a competition number or even finished the paperwork to run NHRA yet. Can I show up join and run or do I have to go through the NHRA main office first? I am not new to racing just stock.

You can't join at the track in NHRA. You might be able to speed up the process by contacting the Division office and/or NHRA home office and get temporary membership/competition card(s) emailed to you.

You can join at the track in IHRA.

Good luck.

Thanks Mike I am a member just do not have completion numbers or liscence yet. I will contact the divisional director tomorrow and try to be at the Tulsa race. It should be about the time I get home with my new pride and joy.

You can call the Div 4 office at 469-248-0014, they can answer all your questions, and get you started. Very nice people.

Glad to here. I have not seen him since the kids ran juniors and we were running superstock.

Was not aware of that! If I don't quit, (right now thinking I am) mine is due at the end of this month.
