Live from the Southern Nats
 

We're not there yet but close. We left home around 1:30pm and drove until 9:30 making it to SC where we met up with our old friend Keith. He said I've got a good spot to spend the night that's great. We get there, its a old well used truck stop and of course there's a gentle men's cub next door that's about as good looking (from the outside)as the truck stop. Did I mention the truck stop was very active (if you know what I mean). Well we made it thru the night and will be pulling out for the 2 1/2 hr drive to the track. Photos and report to come after we get set up.

We're here, now I remember why they call it HOT ATLANTA 84 at 10:30 I'm not complaining. Waiting in the stacking area but there moving now. More to come

You need to keep an eye on that guy Keith, wearing them pink tee shirts. LOL

Well we made it thru tech and are parked. The rains came around 5pm but it didn't storm but its been hot 88 degs. Here's a few photos from the road.

Going to be a busy day today. The schedule is for 3 time runs starting at 8am with stock. I heard a few rain drops last night but it looks good this morning it should be a great day at the races. We'll get some action shots today. More later.

Well after 2 time runs for sure this track is slow compared to our sea level tracks on the east coast. First run pulling 20 numbers out from VMP and I'm 10.996 second run and 20 more numbers out and I'm 10.93. looks like I'm pulling at least 10 more numbers out for our third run.
