Questions about Norwalk divisional

Thinking about going to this one wouldn't be able to roll in till Friday morning. Have heard this is the race to go to if you can.

Would there be any space left at that point? Parking areas flat? The moving city is 75 feet long.

I ask since I haven't been there before and some D-1 tracks have space issues if you don't get there early.

Thanks

Eric

Don't go. It will ruin you for any other experience!

S & SS pit on asphalt & get the royal treatment, you rig should fit along perimeter, maybe not in the middle

Showtime is a blast

Cleanliness everywhere, track dead hooks, fans everywhere

Hate to miss it this year as it falls on Topeka, we've gone 3 of the past 4 years, and hate to miss it

Try "Barry's" for good eats downtown Norwalk....yeah, it's flat

Even if all the asphalt side is filled up, there is plenty of flat parking on the west side of the track . No problem !

Bring plenty of dollar bills! (For the ice cream, not the adult bars.):p

I miss going there.

Hey, pack up your NHRA stocker and come join the fun. You are always welcome to stay with us. I'll make sure I have oaty-o's for your breakfast.

Go Eric,
They will fit you in. In 2013 Johnny Diekema and Drew Skillman were parked at the oval track in Joliet, essentially another zip code, raced each other in the semi finals & Drew went on to win the event. It was a really far walk from the starting line though! :-)

I normally go to this race every year, and its a fantastic event to go to and a great facility. However, if you want to get in on the paved side with electricity you'll have to get there much earlier than that. Last year we got there at 3:00pm on Thursday, and I was just about at the end of the shut down area, almost a 1/4 mile past the score boards. We were roughly 250 in line... crazy, and that was with a horrible forecast.

Thank you. Norwalk would have been a good "out" race. But my new car is broke already. Working on/saving for options, hopefully by end of year.
