What do you all think of the new rule just posted on NHRA for Stock and Stock runs being excluded from Automatic Horsepower Factoring System at Indy.

Sounds cool. I wonder how many cars will be 1.5 or more under??
As a side note - - How about letting all cars run in the eliminator, instead of just 128. The quota for Indy in Stock and Super Stock is 180, would only add 1 round to the eliminations if all cars ran. NHRA even has a provision in the rule book for point distribution of fields over 129. See 2016 rule book - Points and Related Programs Section 3 page 3. |
