Live From Gainesville
 

Well moving day is here, we're going to make the long hall from Waldo to the track (10 miles). We have new members in our traveling group. Bobby and Caroline Howland jointed us a couple days ago (Did you know Bobby is a past Indy winner) for and adult beverage who can tell me what year and what class Bobby won Indy? Also Johnny Cobb jointed us yesterday and will be with the group for both the Div and the Nat at Gainesville. Johnny also has a new car a 48 Anglia Tames panel wagon (very cool,photos to come). The plan is to stack up today and test tomorrow.
There seem to be a theme to our racing and it involves a lot of food. Here we are at Cedar River again (why change a good thing)

Robbie, You probably don't know me but I race at Buds Creek and ran Hot Rod a few years ago with a Red Camaro (Davis Racing) Ron Davis. Nethertheless thanks for all the correspondence. It was nice to see Billy and Johnny out racing. Johnny races all the time. I hope this year I'll be back on both circuits. Again thanks for keeping us on the racing road. By the way Ron Waters will be racing also.

Robbie, good thing there is no weight limit in MASSA when you come to play with us for all the food you've been eating....haha. Good Luck down in Florida, hopefully work will calm down and I can get over to the shop to get my stuff together.

Thanks for the responses guys, Ron I have a hard time remembering my own name anymore stop by and say hello when you make it to the track. Rob the good food is what keeps me racing anymore. We're hoping to race a couple of your races if the schedule permits. Cal, I'm thinking about the Atlanta National you in???? Anyway we're in line at Gainesville waiting to get parked, Red Man said we'll be parked by 6PM its a beautiful day today high in the upper 70s hardly a cloud in the sky.

We're all moved in with a great spot on asphalt (you can get that if your not staying for the Gators) hoping for a good test day. There's a good number of cars here and more stacked up.

Craig is trying to get me to go to the divisional, 2 races in the same weekend.
That would be cool. Just not sure about that 12 hour drive yet.

Robbie is Class Racer's number one live reporter for the super classes. He takes many photos, but you hardly every get to see his beautiful 66 Fairlane.

Ken nice to finally meet you. Your site is the best for our type of racing, glad to help. Well we ran the TnT yesterday and you couldn't of asked for better results. In drag racing it doesn't get any better then the driver doing his/her job and the car doing what you ask. I'll just say my last run I was trying to hit the tree as hard as I could and it came up 000 with a 10.902 I couldn't of ask for much more. A lot more rigs came in yesterday and last night, there's a TnT today also.
