headed to Gainsville monday and going thru bowling green ky map quest says it is 1 hour longer,

I75 at Ky Tenn border has been closed due to rock slides. They detoured traffic off I75 onto a dangerous winding road which resulted in more accidents..( I know, people in Kentucky can't drive. LOL....)They have no idea when I 75 will reopen. The only drawbacks going I 65 south is more miles to travel and negotiating Monteagle....Take some friendly advice when traveling I65 with race car trailers.....Manage your trip so that you AVOID Nashville during rush hour....Nashville is on central time....

Ran down there yesterday- the detour Sucks 2 1/2 hours later and I was back on 75 South !

Went through the detour northbound Sunday at 8:30 am and it took an hour. Interesting detour.

Update , from the Ky. Highway department....SB lanes will reopen on or before March 17, ONE NB Lane will reopen on or before march 24.....

I-75 southbound reopened 3/9/16 at 7 PM
