Weather station?
 

My eight year old TAG hand held weather station suddenly won't power up. I have been told they are out of business?

What would you guys recommend?

Mr Ed I have used the Altronics PerformAire handheld for quite a few years and really liked it. This past year I also bought the PerformAire PC version to use with Crew Chief Pro. Although I'm still trying to figure it out I still consult my handheld just to be sure, always got good customer service when I called with questions and also got paid contingency in a timely matter.

The owners of Altronics are Superstock racers. It is pretty cool to stop by their place and see them working on their products in the shop and their race cars are in back as well. I had purchased a used performaire a few years ago and wanted a check up and update. They even added the O2 sensor and wind meter for a reasonable price and I just picked it up at the shop.
I am due for a new model in that my old one is about 12 years old at least. I am going Altronics. I just need to decide to go hand held or trailer based.

I have a Perform Aire as well. It's an older version but still works nice. Someday I would like a trailer mounted type but it's not in the budget right now. Computec would be another one to take a look at.

Trailer mount altronics with the pager is the best in my opinion.

Performe Aire PC with pager here. We are very happy with it, plus it's hooked up to the trailer battery and no changing batteries like on the hand held stuff.

Ed, you sure this new stuff is not above your grade level? Sometime it's just too easy!!
