Dry in Dallas
Dry, 95 during the day 65 at night. Did I mention dry? Did I mention dust? Did I mention Dry, Dusty, Deficient in Water? Plenty cars. Lot's of space for comp. I think they will park campers there. Stock out at 10. Unlike Miss Patsy, I got no pretty pictures. We broke one out of 4 in the trailer, and another is suspicious. But we are here.

Re: Dry in Dallas
Finally, a couple of passes with a water truck. Not much help.
Anybody still having problems hearing the announcer on the radio station on the printed info when we came in, it is actually 88.7 FM, not the 88.5 printed on the blue sheet. Clear as can be on 88.7. |
Re: Dry in Dallas
It is supposed to be cooler today and on Sunday. Dew points are still in the upper 40s this morning. Some of my friends broke their cars at a previous race (Tony Cowell in OK, Michael Colaluca here at a local track testing). My old boss from Johnson Space Center, his son Chris LeBlanc is racing in S/C. It would be fun to see him win the race.

Re: Dry in Dallas
Miss Patsy called and fired me for a bad job this morning on reporting. I have to agree with here.

Re: Dry in Dallas
Mr Jeff,
I would have used the dust cloud as the excuse for the blockage of service. |
Re: Dry in Dallas
Congrats to Chris LeBlanc for winning S/C in Ennis. I had a feeling he might win, I was watching him keep going rounds.
As far as the Dallas dust bowl, we haven't gotten much rain since June. We were swamped in May, then got some more in June, not much since. I expect another deluge in the winter from El Nino. |
