...and people said they can't run three weeks in a row. Wait til the Divisional schedule is added to four straight national events on the east coast.

Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Wow
June shows 4 national events in a row. Has that ever happened before ? Looks like the teams will have most of May to rest up before the "Eastern Swing ". |
Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Why they steadfastly refuse to move Bristol back to May where it was, and where the weather is so much better, I'll never know. They evidently feel compelled to continue being stupid.

Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Atleast it didn't take them long to figure out racing in Charlotte in March was not a good idea!

Quote:
Yeah, Bruton probably had to take Bristol in June to keep Charlotte out of March. Charlotte is a really nice facility, but the racing surface is crap, I'd rather go to Bristol. Sadly, Bristol in June or July has a DA of nearly 5,000'. It's a shame, in May it is usually around 2200 or so. |
Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Topeka is not listed? So much for the rumor that someone has purchased it and bigger and better things were coming!

Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Sean, click on the link and read it, they are talking to new owners about a Topeka race. Tom

Re: NHRA National Event schedule released
Thanks Tom!
I just read it, and here it is. NHRA officials are currently talking with the new ownership group at Heartland Park Topeka, and an additional race could be added to the 2016 schedule pending the outcome of those discussions. So all is not lost yet. Thanks again for pointing that out. Sean |
