using timer to shift into high

I am shifting on RPM an would like to see if shifting using timer would make a difference could use some help getting it set up.

We set ours to go on the stop @ .5 seconds shift at 1 second come off the stop a ~2 seconds. The object being to be in high gear when the stop comes off to minimize wheel spin. :)
