Motorhome wanders while driving

Have a new 2015 34E Thor Hurricane MH with Ford F53 chassis & V10
with about 4500 miles on it.

I am taking it into my local Medium/Heavy Duty ford dealer next week for a
front end alignment, tire balance and tightening the front shock bolts. Front
tire pressure is 90-95, rear is 110.

I'll know after that if I need to spend the money on a front steering stabilizer
(it has front & rear sway bars from the factory).

Any opinions/comments from those with more experience than I have??

Sounds like an alignment issue or are you "white knuckling" it? If you aren't relaxed driving it you'll move the steering wheel too much over correcting it. It takes time getting use to driving something that big.
Have you looked at rv.net or iRV2 forums? Hope it gets fixed soon for you so you can enjoy your new rig.

Jeff :)

I had a similar issue with my motorhome. Ford F53 chassis. I have had it sine 06 and pull a 30 foot triple axle trailer. The last few times out it towed very different. Any slight wind or mark in the road was very unsettling. Found the rear sway bar bushings were totally gone. Found a company that sells urethane replacement bushings. Installed new rear and front bushings in less than an hour and tows better than new.

I have a short wheelbase 24 foot class C Ford

I added rear air bags.....Bilstein front shocks and steering stabilizer.

Those additions helped a lot to make the ride much better. Much more stable on rougher roads

With my trailer, I use a very HD Reese sway control hitch and it's not bad but truck traffic and side winds can make it less than a fun drive.

I keep it at 65-70 max....on good roads....Trucks and wind and rougher roads would slow me down but overall handling is much better with the parts I added.
