Head Restraint Systems
 
I'm curious how many use the head restraint system? Not the foam c-collar but the expensive one?

My son uses one and I believe they could save your life in an accident many racers including Dale Earnhardt have died from basial neck fractures (basically the head detaches from the spine) my son uses a HANS with quick release sliding teathers so he can rotate his head as much as possible.
IMHO the foam neck collars don't offer much in the way of safety.

Don't leave home without it. When buying one Beware of online Chineese knockoffs. At the Simpson trailer some poor guy brought one over there he bought on ebay as a real hans and it even had a fake sfi tage on it. But they are the way to go wear it
