Belle Rose
 

Anyone that is coming to Belle Rose, be fore warned!! Pat isn't here(not coming until Saturday). The grass hasn't been mowed, there is trash laying around everywhere & the guy that is in charge says that 100 bikes are coming so anyone that is parked close to the track will have to move! There has been lots of rain so the ground is really wet. Hopefully things will be better before we start the event. Also, you might want to bring a rake, when they do get around to mowing, it will be another mess!

We have the NHRA Harley Davidson bikes coming. Not sure it will be 100, but they are going to park behind the tower to keep them together. Thanks, Heading that way tomorrow, and looking forward to a great event.

Gary,

Linda and I recently underwent neck and back surgeries at the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa. We are recovering well, but are not able to do what we could before the accident. I drove to the track last week, and the three days of rain left the grass uncuttable. My brother, Kenny, was there today with his personal tractor to cut the grass. Hopefully, the area will dry over the next few days.

Pat everything looking down here now. The ground is still a little wet but is drying some with the sun out. Hope you had Linda get better soon and we get to see you before we leave

Here @ no problem raceway Tuesday at noon central time. Already got about 50 rigs here. Cars are testing right now. Goodyear & M/T here.

The only grass I've seen near any race track near SoCal is the kind you smoke otherwise dirt or asphalt is the norm.
