Live from Gainesville race #2
 

We got parked around 4 yesterday and with us only staying for the Div race we got a great parking spot on the asphalt (take that John Force). We met Larry and Patsy Hill yesterday (they where parked next to us in line) great people. One good thing about hanging out at the track for a couple weeks we met a lot of nice folks that we wouldn't of met other wise. We tech today and I think there's a T/T more photos to come.

FYI we are getting hammered again, SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW!!!

But they are calling for high 40s this weekend and 50s next week.

Spring is in the AIR.

Cal, hang in there buddy spring is coming. They ran the T/T yesterday a good amount of cars took part in it. The temp this morning is 52degs and I here its going to be cold tonight (Florida cold) in the 30s. Here are some photos from the T/T

Well today is overcast and cloudy, we where supposed to start at 12 noon. Todays activities where just canceled to much moisture in the air. We get 2 time runs tomorrow and first round Sunday. This was a good call

We got 2 hits at the track yesterday, I made two good runs hope I can keep it up today. I saw something at the track that I've never seen before a top dragster go near vertical. I'm not sure who it was but it tried to go over and landed hard, the drive was ok but he has to be sore today. Also a S/G car got in the wall hard, he was in the first pair out I think it was Carl Freeman he also was OK. We're first out today at 9am so that's all for now.

Tough deal about Carl, seems like he lost his Camaro in Gainesville couple of years ago. Heck of a nice guy. Speaking about tough deals, any David Tatum sightings?

Well what a day, after losing 1st round we stayed to help Craig and wouldn't you know after winning the 1st race here 2 weeks ago he made it to the finials again this week. The final race was over at the start as Craig rolled the beam's, congrats to Howard Day on his first div win. This was a tuff race there where at least 5 accidents/ incidents on track 2 SG cars crashed Carl Freeman, David Miller, a SC dragster not sure who it was a SS hit the wall at the starting line also a Top Dragster went vertical and back down hard all the drivers I believe where OK. I made a promise to Craig that if he won this race I'd stay and crew at the Gators for him. Even though he lost in the finals he was the winner in my book. The way he handled a tuff loss showed what a class act he his. Congrats on making another final.
