Cracks at the finish line
 

Anyone notice the rather large cracks in the pavement at the finish line at Pomona. When they show finish line photos they are very apparent. I guess at 300 mph you really don't notice them.

I noticed them on the starting line also. Must be oil down drains.

Could be heat stress from all the nitro car fires

Any of you Super class cars feel the cracks at Pomona, is there bumps too?

I like the heat stress and oil down drain descriptions, I always thought that they called them incremental reference points.
