Sportsman mechanic

Div 2 or 3 racers that may need a hand in the pits. I love class racing but I have learned that the only way I can do it is work!! I am able to travel. Part time or full time!! Please share with anyone that may need a crewman.

Always told RodNut that if I ever won the lottery I was getting him away from Bertozzi. You're next on the list. Guess I need to start playing. ;)

For anyone that doesn't know Phil, he's a jump-right-in-there, give you the shirt off his back, hard working guy. When Lisa Bolton broke a rear at the Tournament of Champions one year, they didn't even know each other, but Phil's under the car barely after it comes to a stop at their trailer, wrenchin' away, "Hi, I'm Phil!", and they busted it out in no time.

I am job hunting. I still offer my free help to anyone at anytime when I am racing. I just want to work in the industry full time. Concrete is getting tough at my age

100% true story! First time I met Phil was under Lisa's car, pulling the third member out. Matter of fact we both had gear oil dripping down to our elbows less than 5 minutes after we met! We changed the rear and the trans in less than an hour with the help of Phil and a few other awesome fellow racers! BTW Phil is also an outstanding driver-- After washing all the gear oil off his hands he went on to win the World Championship in IHRA Stock that day!

Phil- I remember you telling me about how concrete work was beating your body up while we were under the car that day. Hope you find a gig.
Whoever ends up with you as a crew member will not regret it!!

Good Luck

Eddie Bolton

Showed up at the Class Nationals still needing to put the converter in his car, too, if I recall! Dude is not afraid of work. Or travel. Raced with him from Ohio to Florida.

Hey, for what it's worth, I like the guy. He's a good racer, he's not afraid to work and get his hands dirty, he's not as dumb as he looks and (most important) he loves to absorb knowledge!

Traveling and staying out on the road for long periods of time isn't a problem. Very motivated to stay in the racing industry.
