Fastest CC/SA - CC/S Car (AA)

Who do you think has the fastest CC (Now AA) car now that it's back to the old cars? Stick or auto. Has one of these cars been in the 50s yet at an NHRA race? According to NJDRS its Rayburn, Miele and McClanahn. If all the CC cars went to the same track and let it rip who would be the fastest? My money is on Ken Miele. Thoughts?

McClanahan's car is sick-fast. He ran 9.57 last year at Pomona. Don't think anybody wants any part of that car in AA/SA

All we gotta do is talk McClanahan into coming back out. He seems to be taking a lot of time off racing.

I heard their business is booming and taking time from racing.

Nice topic Mike and thanks, but I think the top 3 for the fastest now AA cars are....

1 David Barton in the 65 Coronet
2 Chuck Rayburn
3 Ryan McClanahan

McClanahn has the best number, but I know what the other two are capable of running.

Looking into a crystal ball ... John Shaul's 1963 Plymouth Max Wedge at 405 hp. in AA trim. (3208lbs.)

I hope your crystal ball is right Jim, 405 HP would be nice for the 63 which is at 409 now. I would love to run in B but at 409 HP, A and AA are my only choices and AA is not practical at this time.

Ryan and Chuck are the two fastest for sure. Anyone put up the numbers these two have? Cant wait for Ryan to return to racing.
