Here is faded old one of my old friend Toby Meeks D/MP car from the early 70's. Originally a converted 6 cylinder car he bought new. He salvaged the Boss 302 drive train from a wrecked car.
Started out as a street car, then insanity took over. Quoting him at the time. He got in over his head didn't really know how to make the car run fast enough. Fastest I believe the car ever ran was 11.93 or so. That was 40+ years ago, my memory is a little hazy. He parked the car in 1973 and started selling off the pieces. Used that money to start their Pinto stocker. Which ultimately turned into a much more successful car. |
