Mr. Fletcher
Well I see no one congratulating MR. Dan Fletcher on his win in Columbus sports national so I will be the first CONGRATS

Re: Mr. Fletcher
If there was a congrats thread for every Fletcher win they sure would take up a lot of Ken's server space! Seriously, Dan deserves all the credit in the world for his hard work, dedication and skill set....Congrats indeed!

Re: Mr. Fletcher
As usual great driving by Dan. His lights were very consistent all day long. That was a tutorial in how to win a race.
Alan Wade is a tough racer in his own right. I always enjoy racing with him during the races early in the year down in Fla. and GA. |
Re: Mr. Fletcher
There's a reason other drivers tend to have a lot of red lights against drivers of his caliber. Wade missed by a thousandth. Round 7 was as close as it gets ,the new camaro will see the the circle soon

Re: Mr. Fletcher
90? That's unreal. So unreal that I forgot to include the "big Wally" count in my off-site coverage (I did mention the number of red lights against drivers of his calibre).
Congrats, Dan, even an old fart like me gets impressed once in a while. For those who may have missed it, both Dan and Edmond Richardson were in final rounds last Saturday, and both got the job done. |
Re: Mr. Fletcher
ATTA boy,
Anyhow in the interests of fair reporting, his opponents lights went like this: final -.001 (pretty good attempt) semi bye 5th rnd -.004 ( not too shabby) 4th rnd .000 3rd. rnd .012 2nd. rnd .008 1st. rnd. .798 ( this being the 'lucky rnd.) So, mentioning that he 'gets a lot of red lights' should have been backed up with how many times his opponent was REALLY good against him yet he still takes the win. Truthfully, I don't think he actually gets that many red lights against him. |

Those numbers show how hard it is to win, anyone of those is hard to beat. (Even the first rnd. if you break out or break:-) To win any event is hard work, to win a lot of them even harder. |
