While scaning a 1975 Summernationals program for a guy I fould this ad.

How things change and time goes by so fast, just think our grand kids will say :
Back in 2014 my grandpa pd only $ 125.00

If the Summernationals were $9.00 in 1971, how could the US Nationals only be $10.00 in 1975?

I seem to remember $6 or $7 in 75. It was my first trip to Englishtown and I still have a T shirt in the wrapper from that event. :)

$7 in 1975 is equal to $30.95 today when you factor in inflation (using US Dept. of Labor statistics).

$10 would equal $44.21 today.

Not sure what the US Nats ticket prices were this year but looking at the upcoming Texas race, they vary from $15-$60. Seems like ticket prices are roughly the same when you factor in the buying power of the dollar.
