Awesome! What a difference in rear tire speed on the launch from stick to auto! COOL!

Great footage! Nothing like a slow-mo of a 4spd! Thanks

Interesting to watch tire profiles with modifications that some racers with similiarly classed cars do while others do not---there's ET being lost there if you know what to look for

I talked to an old modified compact racer a couple of decades ago that ran some IHRA events with an AM/C VW. I noticed he always bypassed the water box. He said if he dead hooked the car it killed the ET due to the low horsepower. I know nothing about a race clutch but have wondered with the new clutches if it is possible to dial in the hit on the tire where the car leaves like it is on the converter? Don Jackson

very cool. I guy could learn a lot about his car, especially suspension and vehicle reaction time by watching that super slow mo video.

The general consensus is reflected in what you see . Set your launch RPM clutch and tires so it spins about 1 time as it moves forward. Yes if you turn the launch down enough it should dead hook .
Our car goes the fastest if you launch at the higher rpms but if you spin too much it may become inconsistent. Others could have different experiences.
Jerry thank you very much for the video. Had too watch it [about 5 times] this morning as it wouldn't come in clear enough to enjoy it last night. ---Trevor
