2014 2nd Annual Midwest Summer Classic!! Sponsored by: Minnesota Pipe & Equipment Calling all Stock and Super Stock Racers, With the help of Midwest Class Racers, MN Chapter, Midwest Class Racers (Watertown Ford Chrysler), and Heartland Class Racers we have a S/SS Race scheduled for August 30th, 2014 and August 31st, 2014 located at Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, IA. Tri-State Raceway has also stepped up with the payout if we receive 65+ cars for each day. 2nd Annual Midwest Summer Classic Update!! Welcome to the breakdown for the payout structure for the 2nd Annual Midwest Summer Classic!! Entry Fee: $100 tech card each day. Just spoke with Bill from Tri State Raceway. Tri State Raceway is also going to kick in some money if 65+ entries show up for Saturday and Sunday's S/SS Combo. So if 65+ entries show up the payout will be as follows: Winner $2000+* Runner/Up $1000+* Semis $500 Quarters $375 3rd Rd Win $250 2nd Rd Win $125 1st Rd Win $75 If we have less than 64 entries show up the payout will be as follows: Winner $1850+* Runner/Up $900+* Semis $500 Quarters $250 2nd Rd Win $125 1st Rd Win $75 * These races also have a $150.00 Winner / $100.00 Runner Up contingency from Midwest Race Cabinets. * $100.00 Winner contingency if the event is won by a stick shift S/SS car from Grosz Racing. * $200 Gift Certificate Winner / $100 Gift Certificate Runner/Up both days from Larry Hodge Racing Tire "Perfectly Wild Bill Performance Award" The "Perfectly Wild Bill" Award of $100 will be awarded to the first competitor that runs on their dial with a '0' with a winning time slip. This will be awarded for both days. $250 FastShocks Gift Certificate Award $250 Gift Certificate for parts and labor awarded to a lucky qualifying position on Saturday's Race.
