Indy Schedule
 

Is there a detailed schedule available for Thursday and Friday at Indy yet. Will fly in around 1 pm Thursday. Want to know what I will miss and when the semis and final for the Factory Shootout will be.

The detailed schedule is hiding right now, but the FSS and Mopar Challenge generally run at the end of each round of class eliminations (FSS Thursday, Mopar Friday). The first rounds will take about 1.5 hours and they start at 8 a.m. each day.

You might get there in time for the FSS semifinals, should see all of the Mopar Challenge.

I can tell you a little bit about the Hemi Challenge. They are usually called to assemble for the parade about 9:00am. The parade will have a neat orginal 68 dart (owned by a member on this board) leading, followed by all the SS/AH racers. They then have a driver/car photo shoot before starting elims. After the first round they fall right into regular SS class elims. 5 rounds so it will take a while.

If this year is like all of the others, the detailed run schedule will be available late Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening. Keep in mind that the Factory Stock Showdown final (between the FS/A winner and the FS/B winner) will be run Friday night between the Pro sessions. The final of the Hemi Challenge will also be run on Friday night between the Pro sessions. Hope this helps, and I can't wait for Wednesday August 27!

One small clarification...there is only one Pro session Friday.

I think the two finals will be run between the Pro Stock session and whichever Nitro eliminator runs first Friday evening.

That is exactly what I meant because it was done that way last year and I was there to see it. I just didn't explain it very well.
