Looks like alot more will get in now...

So does that mean the fastest 128 still qualify or will that increase as well??

It would really be something if, for once, the alternates didn't leave and there were no bye runs in round one of the 128 car field.

NHRA is getting as much revenue as possible from S/SS, they have to get it from somewhere. The stands aren't as full as they used to be with spectators as we all can see. I 'm very excited that NHRA saw the need for the increase the fields. You only walk once on this earth so you might as well enjoy what you can and by opening the fields up it allows racers to do their bucket list. I know that I will not qualify but I also will have 61 other racers in the non qualifier locker room with me. I plan on enjoying every minute that I'm there even if I just get 5 passes and put the car back on the trailer.

I can't wait to see all the Stock and Super Stock class runs, and I'm also very excited for the Factory Showdown! I will be arriving in Indy Wednesday night and attending the race on Thurs, Fri and Sat. only 2 weeks left!
