bikes using traction control
 

Just wondering if anyone knew why ihra (I don't run any nhra events so I cant speak for them) doesnt address the bikes running box and no box who are running traction control. They come from the factory with sophisticated enough rate of acceleration rev limiters that they set the rpm per second rate of acceleration for each gear. I cant speak for everywhere but here in central Texas they are starting to clean house in no box, box, and street.it takes some of the fun out of it when you draw someone who set their dial with a lap top.

Traction control isn't that big of an advantage. I know you are looking for reasons you didn't win but that isn't one. So easy to blame the other guy you fail to look in the mirror.

If a bike spins the rear tire it won't do it the same way every time. Traction control works by removing power *when* it senses tire spin. What if it doesn't spin?

Factory system as well as others work to control and out of control situation. They are not perfect because the track, the weather, and most importantly, the rider/driver are not always doing the same thing run after run. I would think the traction control would lead to more losses than wins.

I know why I don't win every round . That's besides my point, according to some of the busa forums their tc is more than a little advantage. What difference does it make to what degree of an advantage it is. It is plainly written in the rule books that it isn't allowed.
