NHRA announces new Manifold for 512 Mopar
The manifold deveolped with Wilson Manifolds and Mopar has been accepted by NHRA for Stock Eliminator. Arrow Racing Engines has been testing the manifold affectionately named "Flower Pot" after design by Wilson. Considering the front entrance scoop incorporated in the 512 V10 engine and the known pressure, the manifold is expected to produce an additional 30 BHP at 140 MPH.

I also heard that Ford Motorsport has a new intake for the Cobra-jet called the "Compost Box" and it's the biggest of all…MB.

I have the "Flower Pot", now if I could figure out how to post it, I would. Sorta looks like a puppy on it's back with its legs in the air, but 10 legs instead of 4. I guess that don't work too good.

I'm a MOPAR guy, but what WTF!
Sheet metal intakes approved that where not OEM for both the DP and COPO? This is the true definition of Factory Experimental. Why not allow a sheet metal manifold for the Max Wedge? |
Re: NHRA announces new Manifold for 512 Mopar
Is the Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning part of the V10 intake swap? Spicing up the V10?

Re: NHRA announces new Manifold for 512 Mopar
Very observant on your part;. Tony's will spice up anything, but lately we picked up 15 hp with some Slap Ya Mama seasoning. Real good on vanilla ice cream, gumbo, fried alligator or an alligator sauce pecant using the tender white meat from the jowels of the gator (as opposed to the tail) and doing it in a white cream sauce instead of the traditional red sauce. Talk about good. Really good with a nice Chardonay. Sorry I got distracted here.

I wonder what Farmer Dismuke would think.
I guess money and politics are the "change" here. |
