All Original '78 LT Camaro
 

Figured some of you expert Bowtie guys could help. Being I'm not a Chevy guy I'm trying to help a friend of a friend etc. determine collectable value for their '78 Camaro LT coupe (no RS/SS trim). Bright yellow, unrestored, original documentation, under 8k miles, headliner starting to separate in one spot and one driver door ding otherwise showroom mint. Has been in climate controlled storage, covered pretty much it's entire life. I believe it's located in Missouri. I will post pictures later.

Max it would get is maybe $10k-$12k if it was flawless. There's just no value for a low optioned car like that, even if it is clean. A mint Z/28 would fetch more, but still not anything like an early 2nd gen would. A '78 Z/28 might get $15-$20k if it was perfect.

Yep. They seemed to have been asking too much but wasn't sure enough to tell them. I kinda suspected the numbers you suggested. Thanks!!
