Brake pressure gauge, hard tubing or braided line?

To install a brake pressure gauge inside the car it sure would be neater and easier using a -4 braided line kit or should it be hard tube? What is the best way to do this?

While I think hard line would be preferable, I have -4 and it seems to be fine.

I installed one over the winter. I decided to go with an electric gauge to minimize connections and bleeding the system in the car.. Glad i did it works fine.

I installed my Autometer liquid-filled mechanical gauge with a steel hardline. It had a bleeder fitting on the back of it, so no issues there.
