Winters sidewinder shifter mounting

I'm changing my 89 fox body over to a C4 . I would like to see ideas on how to mount a Winters sidewinder shifter. not alot of room with the E/brake.
Thanks Slickfoot

Come on racers, I can't be the 1st to do this. The problem is the console and the E/break. Can the console be removed in the stock classes? I would like to see some photos of how the auto/stock fox body racers have done theirs.
Thanks Slickfoot

Yes. You can mount an aluminum plate over the hole where the stock shifter went, carpet the area where the console used to be, and then mount the shifter wherever you please.

Or, you can remove the factory shifter, and fabricate a mount and cover (out of sheet metal or aluminum) and retain the console.

It's up to you.
