Seeking info wo23
Good evening. I am new to this forum but have been very impressed with what i have seen so far. I recently bought this car and am hoping that someone might recognize it. It says baxely ga on its side. I can also make out "big t new and used auto" under the paint on the back quarter panel. Its rumored to have been fielded or possible driven by a mr thigpen. Any ideas?

Thanks for reposting that in a larger format. I'm not the most tech savy person. :)

I have got to stop typing on this tablet, lol. In the smoke painted on the door, two names are painted. They are JJ miles, Artis Harper. It also says BWK GA. I think the car had more sponsors on it during its hay day. The pic I have looks to be 1973 (the suburban looks to be the newest car in background)

A real WO23? Wow. I hope it's not all cut up.

Re: Seeking info wo23
Its not terribly cut up. It still has chalk marks in the trunk and is wearing the paint in the picture. The usual damages (quarters jacked and wheel wells cut) are going to be fixed or replaced as part of the restoration. I have a good clean parts car for that. Its real, which is why I am hoping that somebody might have a pic or info. I would like to put it back to as early a date as possible (but in racing colors).

I though Jim Kramer had the Smoking Joe W-0 car.

Re: Seeking info wo23
That is correct. Ive known him since I was a kid. He offered the car and I jumped. He told me that this forum was a good resource and gave me some numbers to call.
