The ATC Raven series is the lightest one I've seen. Even with all aluminum different manufacturers have variation in frame spacing, sheet thickness, etc.

Featherlight makes an open alloy. Probably the lightest way to go

You are talking open or enclosed ???? ATC & Featherlight along with any Alum open trailer will be the lightest way to go .... Depends on what kind of Tow truck you have to pull with..??

I assumed Dan was talking enclosed....I've got a 2005 open Featherlite 3110 model and think it weighs 1500 (it's for sale BTW) and I think the Raven 20 foot enclosed is about 1000-1200 pounds heavier.

I have customized a 1994 Caprice Wagon to tow with.

Want to add a EV drive system to the Trailer to aide towing.
Also adding Solar Cells for Charging at the Pits and other electrical uses.
