Kestrel weather station
 

Is anyone using the Kestrel 4250 weather station? I am in the market for a weather station and wanted to gather information from someone already using a Kesler.

Works great. I bought mine from Biondos and it came with a facts sheet that was also helpful. It is portable and very consistent.

Just began using mine last Saturday when the car broke. Going back this Saturday and hope to learn more from it. Just from my limited experience so far I think I will like it...I have it interfaced with my laptop in the pits and it is convenient to quickly log run data/events.

I didn't know you could interface it with your lap top. Pretty cool. I've thought about getting one just for the wind speed capability.

Yes, unit sits in a cradle with a serial to usb connection. I was hanging it off the tow truck mirror last Saturday.

Also available with bluetooth, so no physical connection required.

They work fine. The download kit is nice, just wish the cable was longer ( you can get a longer one just not from them ).
