Live from Orlando

Well, we left sunny and warm south Florida yesterday and got to Orlando around 3PM. (so much for testing). There's a good amount of cars already here but we woke up this morning to rain. The weather channel is calling for a chance of rain to day and tomorrow, we'll see. While in Arcadia we visited Solomon's castle pretty cool place. http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...tle2014004.jpghttp://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...tle2014075.jpghttp://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...tle2014043.jpg
This little guy is Howard Solomon he built the castle and all the art and items in it.

Robbie you found a gem......Howard Solomon is one very cool guy......we have been going there for years.......I never get tired of the place and his talent......maybe a tad eccentric....lol

I remember when he started building the Ark restaurant.....everyone I've ever sent there has had a great time.......is the little antique car museum just outside the entrance still open....????? That guy is a hoot as well.

Haven't been back in a few years and happy to see Howard is still going at it...!!!!!!

I think his corny ways are what keeps me going back....lol

How in Hell did you find out about the place......most people I know that live within a 50 mile radius have never even heard of the place :)

Rick, the last time we where in the area we rode buy on the MC (2 years ago)but did not stop. Then we were watching a show on TV(AT home) and it was in the show. Hard to believe he built it all I wonder how old he is? It was pretty cool and as you said a bit eccentric. The car museum is still there not sure if it was open.

Just saw reports on Facebook from the track and Div office that racing for today was a wash out... 1 time shot/qualifying pass in the morning then right into eliminations...

As everyone knows yesterday was another wash. Today looks to be a very busy one, the sun is out and cars are already fired up(7:30). I think the run schedule is start to at 8:30 1 time shot then eliminations.

Well 1st round R/U again, it was real fast this morning 011 &10.69. First round I made a bad guess 026 and 10.97 dumping, it would of only been a 10.93. Chris D is still in I believe 3rd or 4th Rd. Tom Joseph was involved in a bad top in crash not sure of his injuries please keep him and his family in your prayers. http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...ndo2014032.jpghttp://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...ndo2014037.jpghttp://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/...ndo2014040.jpg[URL=http://s1129.photobucket.com/user/tw20659/media/Orlando2014040.jpg.html][IMG
