Nostalgia, Stock & Super Stock Race at Cecil County this summer. A friend is putting a race for 73 and older cars. If you are interested let me know. Just want to see how many guys may want to come. Thanks

Billy....All of the "GDOP's" are here in Florida. I don't think they will travel that far unless they are snow birds heading home and stop in. The way they drive it would take them 6 months from now to get to Cecil County. By the way the GDOP's are G*D DA*N OLD PEOPLE ! Its like the staging lanes to the cemetery here.

I was told when I moved out here that "people move to Florida to retire, they move to Pennsylvania to die!".

We have a lot of GDOP's here in South Carolina also. We call them Yankee half backs. They move to Florida, then halfway back to here in SC.
Seriously, it sounds like a cool race idea.

Most who are "snow birds" are already dead here and don't know it yet. Its where they make the movies "The Walking Dead". I park my Harley during the winter until they all go home. It isn't safe to ride here as they can not drive.

Any idea what dates he is looking at? I will certainly be there if possible. Might be able to get a couple other cars there too if his date does not conflict with their racing schedule.
