Re: Ford sportsman article in Hot Rod Magazine
OK, I am a Ford man and Ford lover, but I can't get excited about the article. I find it jumping all around and trying to tell us how they are going after the grass roots of racing like they did in the past and show mostly pics of Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and wheel standers. They even take some time to discuss the Mercury line that they killed several years ago. Come on, there have been more pics taken of grass roots Fords racing. If they won't show you any pics now, I doubt you will see your Ford in print anytime soon, win or lose.
I am sorry, I love the product, but I don't believe them. Let them put their money where their mouth is! |

Thanks Alex!! Keep all of us Ford Guys up to date on the changes coming out of Ford Motor Company. See if we get the backing on all Stock / Super Stock cars with the logo: Powered by FORD.

Re: Ford sportsman article in Hot Rod Magazine
As per Jesse Kershaw, "In NHRA we are posting $25k for a Cobra Jet World Championship in Stock or Super Stock. Additionally we are posting $1000/$500 for win/RU in divisional championship standings for all Ford vehicles. And we're bringing back the Ford Racing Cup award for the highest finishing non-CJ Ford in Stock & Super Stock in World Championship standings. I think that's $500 each. We're trying to promote the new cars because that's what our dealers are selling but we're also rewarding all our Ford racers with some new programs. So get out there and win!"
