Div. 4 Thunder Road?
 

I noticed that just since Friday it looks like their website is For Sale?
Did they loose their domain & Go Daddy get'em or is the whole deal for sale?
Looks like the Web Site is worth 1400+ dollars.
They are supposed to have a booth at the car show in Shreveport today.
I wonder if it will be there?
Is there more ongoing drama in Div 4 & it's racetracks?

Wow! I hope not! That's one of the better tracks. That would be a real shame.

facebook 1 day ago says trrp will be closed for the winter months due to bad weather. we are working on maintance issues to make the 2014 season perfect.

i sure hope that its something small!

Living in our information age we are able to learn so much more than just a few years ago. And our access to the experience and knowledge of others has great value. [example, this board and others]

However, even with virtually the world library at our finger tips we can not learn factual information about Thunder Road Raceway. This was also true about Dallas Raceway until the last few days. Since all the scheduled Dallas Raceway races are now moved to other tracks one can assume it is done and gone from the race track list. [but still no official announcement]

In a perfect world, race tracks take advantage of our information age by posting new season schedule in a timely manor. In addition, doing things with their respective web site to keep customers up to date with planned programs and events.

You can find examples of forward thinking race tracks. Many of the successful tracks have their 2014 schedules posted including special events.

Since the Thunder Road web site has not changed in about two months it is reasonable to think;

*They have no plan
or
*They do not realize the value of a posted schedule
or
*They don't care
or
*who knows?
