Sarasota Area Campground

My wife and I are looking for a clean, quiet and reasonable campground to park our 27 foot travel trailer. My brother who lives in Sarasota, is in poor health ,and my wife Sharon and myself would like to tow down and visit for a few weeks. We are RFC Chaplains at National Trail Raceway..thanks for any info you could provide us! Happy New Year!!!

We stay at Encore Manatee RV Resort in Bradenton - just north of Sarasota. 800 Kay Rd 9 miles from the track. Phone number is 941-745-2600 It is awesome - clean, friendly and lots to do.

Steve, when I moved to Florida, I stayed at "The Horseshoe Cove RV Resort". It was great ! Clean/Quite/Safe. On Caruso Road and I 70, just West of I 75, Bradenton, Fl. 15 min to Sarasota. Lots of resturants, etc. There is another place on I 70 near there, Pleasant Lake RV Resort, It's also very nice and very reasonally priced at about $30.00 a day. Both places are quick access to I 75 making it a short run south to Sarasota. JB.

Steve, Sun and Fun RV Resort located on Fruitville Rd just east of I75 in Sarasota. It's a clean family oriented camp ground.
