SS/H&I camaro
 

Looking for and info as to what happened to my old racecar
I ran in divison 2 74 to 76 SS/H &I 67 camaro. Red
Gardelle and Johnstone.
I sold the car to dempsy hardy in early 76.
I would like to find pictures or just know what
happened to it.

Didn't Dempsey Hardy run an early Camaro in modified for a while ? (painted black I think?)

Yea he ran ss then switched to super mod and I bought the ss motor out of his car.

Couldn't find the picture but I hated that track. The one day
thing sucked. I'm looking for a national dragster or two from late 75
oct. Or nov.

Dempsy passed away a few years ago from a heart attack.
pretty fat and out of shape.

I remember one night at Hollywood you were racing Dempsy and eithere you or dempsy's drive shaft came out at the finish line. One car got very side ways.

That was me. I think I stood it on the front bumper and still got the win.
