Swede at the Dutch
 

Please welcome the return of Sweden's very own Mikael Lind as he is preparing to check off one of his bucket list items by racing the Dutch Classic. He is bringing his 71 Corvette 454/365 and wants to see what it will do in those legendary Maple Grove fall conditions.

Mikael is a very enthusiastic Stock/Super Stock drag racer and has more knowledge about the sport than most US racers I know. He is a pleasure to talk to enjoys sharing stories and ideas with fellow racers.

Regrettably I had to miss this trip, however along for the ride will be engine builder Darell Wikle. Some day I want to scratch this race off my bucket list too! Have fun Mikael and good luck.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mikael at Noble this past weekend. He is a very nice and knowledgeable man and his Corvette is top notch. He should have no problem popping wheelies and going fast at the Dutch. After the race he and Darell stopped by Jim Lewis's and talked for a while. I wish him good luck at the race. If you get a chance to talk to Mikael tell him he speaks good English. He'll probably get a good laugh and maybe tell you a story. Derek

Had the pleasure of talking to Mikael and his friends today. He thought my Boston accent sounded Australian. LOL They have been packing on the miles for sure.
