WANTED Powerglide first gear 196 - 203 OR ??? Let me know ??
 

I am looking for a low first gear for a powerglide, full length, currently using
a 182 & am looking for more first gear possibly a 196 or a 203.

I have a brand new 198 gear set from ATI. If it is like the rest of our stuff it is straight cut. Will need to check with ATI. Let me know if you are interested.

I have a nice used TCI 1.96 Super Set helical housed in an OEM style 1.76 carrier. Also have a nice used ATI 1.98 Super Set helical housed in an OEM style 1.82 carrier. The TCI gears can be moved to an aftermarket carrier if so desired. Also have new stuff available.

I sent you some info... whatever you do end up using, be 100% sure the gearset is based on the 1.76 style carrier... the 1.82 based sets are generally NOT going to live well with the power you have at that weight! They're fine for non-transbrake or very light cars, but that's about it.
