Go or blow, pass or fail

Those are the questions. Stuffed Nomad into garage after Earlville 2012. Haven't touch a thing, health, economy, knee operation....anyway, got the bug and loaded Nomad today and off to Earlville, a happy happy happy place

After sitting, will it make it down track, or drop a valve at 9500 RPM at 1295 feet, that is the question: go or blow. 11.42 at Indy, 11.39 Earlville last Sept

Pass or fail: will C12 pass after a year in the cell

Final question: can I remember what button to push or release when

The C-12 is probably lawn mower fuel by now.

We had some C-25 left over from Indy[Rick Johnson] Hemi Challenge 2006 that passed in Brainerd. We checked it and were surprised...one sealed pail and one with 2gal left!

My VP C12 stored outside in a standard Walmart type "red plastic" container throughout the fall, winter, and spring has been good/passed two years in a row.

My C-12 stored in the can is always good throughout the year but fuel in the cell in the car it goes bad quickly with the summer heat. Perhaps I should try to seal up my cap and vent hose better.

Good luck Randall and have some fun!

Re: Go or blow, pass or fail

I left my valves lashed for about a year. I was worried about the valve springs. So before I even turned over the engine, I pulled the valve covers and marked all the valves that were at a high lift. I pulled those springs and replaced them. BTW , they were down about 30-40 lbs, compared to ones that were stored at low or no lift. I won't make that mistake again, valve springs are getting way expensive !

Part 1, 13 month old VP in cell failed, barely, remainder in jug barely passed

Go or blow tomorrow....at least made it thru tech

Beautiful at Earlville, 82 degrees slight breeze , blue skies, green grass, clean grounds, friendly staff
