Need a Hitch: Freightliner Chassis Pusher

The hitch broke off of out Freightliner Chassis RV right when we got pulled in our spot here at Bowling Green.

We are in need of a new hitch before we can head home. Who should we talk to in the area?

We are parked down towards the scales. My cell is 540-454-0115. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our current hitch is not beyond repair just yet, but it will need to be sleeved and braced so we don't bust it off again.

By the looks of the pictures you were lucky with the rust it was cracked for sometime. Good luck with the repairs.

2 years ago a friend of mine needed welding done at that race and the ladies at the entry ticket booth to the track directed him to a welding shop that took good car of him promptly, it was within 3-5 miles of the track. He took an axle to the shop, but they probably can get your rig in their lot or maybe come to you. Go see them at the booth where you paid to get in and ask

daaammmmmm, prob. good thing you had the toad. or do you think the side loads of reverse may have had something to do with it? it didn't brake the weld. anyway, good luck and be safe, time to go look under the motorhome....

Honestly. It's the fact that it wasn't braced up, even with the toad it needs to be braced to the frame pretty well. It tore it off like it was no big deal while turning into our pit spot. Luckily the other side held long enough to get it up off the road. The second side pulled off without much effort this morning.

We will have it repaired and braced on Monday thanks to some fellow racers that put us in touch with the right people.

Everyone should be keeping a good eye on their hitches on RVs pulling any trailer. The stacker pulled it off like it was butter!
