It was one of the nicest days I can remember at Quaker City Raceway. Clear day, 76 degrees even in the afternoon, light crosswind, 28.90 baro, 2600-2700' DA pretty consistently all day.

Decent number of Class cars here. Danny Smith (SS/DA Belvedere) and I in Super Stock, Terry Knott (F/SA Dart Sport), Hogar (E/SA Duster, Dickerson's old car), Bob Shieff (SGT/F Aspen), Jerry Coblentz (C/PS Duster).

Bob Shieff won Sportsman, and the Duck Tape Volare won in Pro.
