Most economical double adj front shocks

Looking for something to settle down the landing after a wheel stand. Is shocks pretty much the answer. Currently run koni spa1 and the wheelie is about 4' high and comes down at about the 60' mark. When it lands it bounces off the bump stops and comes up again about a foot before it settles down. Looking for something economical. Thanks in advance.

Good luck Eric!
I had QA1s, had them re-valved twice. Same deal. Bought AFCO BNCs which was supposed to cure that, still bounced, had them re-valved to stiffen compression, still bounced. Bought a $2400.00 set of Santuffs. Finally cured. I don't know of a cheap fix.

Btw, the cheapest shocks, the QA1s, ran just as fast. Same 60', etc. just bounced on landings.

Santhuff. If you want the best control, there is no substitute.

I don't know what kind of car we're talking about but $500 or so is a lot cheaper than Santhuffs. And maybe front-end travel limiter or weight forward of the mid-section of the car is even cheaper yet. Or maybe a rear suspension adjustment or an RPM adjustment.
I'm just saying exhaust all current resources first. And maybe a pair of Santhuffs will be the magic pill you need (they are very good shocks; something I wish I had looked at. We'll try my custom valved BNC AFCO's first).

a note about Santhuff shocks. They are expensive but with out question worth it. My Firebird went from big wheelies to small wheelies and settles down quickly. No bounce, excellent control, smooth.

Even driving the pits and return road it is smooth.

However, the biggest improvement, deadly consistent. In addition the win light shins often!

This video shows my Firebird in action. Slide the time arrow [bottom of video] to the one min mark. You will see "Woodfin" on the dash. Watch the smoothness. This car runs 6.0's 1/8 mile - 9.50's 1/4 mile with an average 1.33 60' Santhuff all four corners.

Forget the run at 1 minute, the run before it with the camera falling off the car and video taping the track as it bounced and rolled was priceless! Does the camera still work?

Jeff, the video person is Steve McDermott Jr and he is doing a great job with video's at the Dallas area tracks.

He was "several" cameras, on any given night he may have 5 - 6 cameras on different cars, different positions. Did you notice he had two cameras on my Firebird?

He goes around the pits rigging up on different cars then goes to the water box and turns on the camera as you are making ready to run.

Here is a link to his web site. http://northtexasbracketracing.com/

Put Lambs on my firebird, wern't cheap but were worth every dollar. The car has been fantastic since installing them. Don't cheap out on shocks or you'll be buying them twice.
