Dave Dailey - God Speed
 

It is with much sadness that I pass on the news that we lost one of our great Division 3 Racers today. Dave Dailey is racing in heaven now. God Speed my friend. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

Dave will be sadly missed , and missed at the US Nats. He was one of our long time neighbors for the nationals...... and had a lot of laughs with him.

Just a little something I will share........... the past 2 seasons while saying goodby for the race it was a little tough with Dave as he would have tears , and worries that it might be his last. I always re-assured him that he wasn't going nowhere! And that we would see his ole butt next year!......... Guess God needed a Super Gasser! Well he got him a good one !......... I'll see ya again Dave ....

Really enjoyed Dave, googled his name and it came up with the 2009 U.S. Nationals where he had to race his cousin in the third round. He won that round, and I don't.know how many more. He was 75 at that time. I will think about him often. Steve Williams. S/ G

We lost 2 great racers today, both where around when the parents started racing and I think Dave Daily had been to indy a few more years then them. RIP Bob Bond & Dave Dailey, both original Super Gas drivers when the class came about, both great guys, huge lost!

The track just won't be the same without you and that Anglia, but I know the Heaven's will be rockin with the two of you up there! God Speed Dave! You will be greatly missed by all of us!

Always liked talking to Dave when I raced in D3. We both enjoyed each others cars when I had the Willys.
