PMR & Perf. Speed S/SS Combo Wrap-Up

Just wanted to give everyone an event wrap-up from this last weekend at Famoso Raceway.

The PMR Race Cars & Performance Speed and Custom Stock / Super Stock Combo event ran very smooth despite the incredible heat throughout the entire day. The day started early and so did the heat. A huge thanks to all of the racers who braved the heat and came out - a fair turnout of cars (total of 16) despite the known conditions.

Famoso Raceway did a phenomenal job at keeping everything running smooth. The track prep was outstanding from morning to night - never seen a track this good in this kind of heat...or any any heat for that matter. (see pictures...coming shortly).

Another big thank you to all of our sponsors for the event:

Thank you to all of the racers who were able to make it out, brave the heat and hopefully have a great time. We look forward to the next event!

I think the $75 to the semi finalist in each race was a great unexpected prize.

We were in both semi finals.

Can not tell you how much we appreciated it.

Organization was "spot on".

Traction was terrific at least for our 9 second 9" tire stocker.

Can not wait until the next one.

Just an example of the track conditions that we had last weekend at the S/SS Combo Race at Bakersfield - Famoso Raceway

Thanks for not mentioning my award for "Worst Possible Red Light" in round 1. I will use the prize of a portable practice tree to avoid this kind of accolade at the next one......or maybe not?
