IHRA Tech at Pittsburgh
There was a surprise waiting for the Crate Motor racers in Stock eliminator this past weekend. After going thru tech we,as well as all other Crate Motor Stockers , were asked to pull off a valve cover to check cylinder head numbers. No one was bounced.Good to see they are looking at some of this stuff.

Re: IHRA Tech at Pittsburgh
They did the same thing to us at Bradenton this year. Half of the cars checked were non-crate motored cars though (including me). Everybody was good. Good to see this! Jim

Re: IHRA Tech at Pittsburgh
I believe Jim Woods has been a driving force in getting back to spot-checking cars. Jim will be one of the Tech officials at the Northern Class Nationals next spring, along with Danny Waters, Sr. and NHRA Div. 3's Donald Braun. (and probably 1 or 2 more guys)
