Mopar 2 x 4 carbs for sale

I have a set of WCFB carbs stated to be older Mopar style. 3361 and 3361s. Were used with 70s Dart? Very clean and were working well when removed from small block Vette street car. $1500 with linkage. Dick Butler 937-623-8126

See follow up post Carbs are 2631s, 2632. Sorry for mix up..

1962-64 409 & 425HP (2 X 4) Carter AFB 3361S Front

http://www.348-409.com/part.html#CN

It looks like they are worth more as Chevy carbs. Everything I saw on that part number showed a 409 useage. WCFB was cast iron as I recall, or mostly cast iron. It supposedly stood for Will Carter Four Barrel. $.02.

Dick said WCFB...think he knows difference between AFB and WCFB...

Maybe he's got the #'s wrong...Mopar had dual WCFB option back in the late 1950's I
think...possibly on the 392 Hemi...and maybe a couple of wedge engines as well...but
I'm no historian!

Re: Mopar 2 x 4 carbs for sale

I wasn't trying to ridicule Dick or anyone else. I'm certainly no expert on WCFBs, I haven't ever seen one in person. I was just going off the part number. Anyways, here are some part numbers I found for a 1958 392 Hemi:

Carter WCFB carburetor kit.

•Chrysler
1958 LC3 C300 392 (2 carb)
• Dodge
1958 325 LD2-M Power Package
• Plymouth
1957-58 P-31 LP-2 318 Fury (2 carbs), 1958 LP2-S Fury (2 carbs).

To get the correct kit you will need to match your carburetor number with the list provided.
2631s 2632s 2660s 2741s 2742s 2761s 2762s

I looks like the numbers should start with a "2" if it's a Mopar carb. GM used dual WCFBs on Chevies and Pontiacs from what I found. Again, I'm no expert on GM products, quite the contrary. Just trying to put out some info I found.

Jim, sorry to be rough on you...I had a bad day at the office....

The numbers Dick listed certainly sound like the 409 2x4 set-up...or at least half of
it!

BTW, aren't you the guy in charge of the Hemi-Only race?

No biggie! I try not to riffle any feathers on here or any other site. I don't see any value added by doing that. My parents taught me to play nice.

I started a thread on a 2014 Hemi Reunion, like the 2008 reunion. I think Josh King took the ball and was running with it on the last thread I saw on it. He seems to be working for Indy Cylinder Head and promotes his own shows, so it seems like it will fly. I haven't seen anything from him in several months. I didn't have any way to promote such an event, so I was happy to see someone pick it up.
