The Massingill's at The School of Automotive Machinists are getting one. They already run a 2012 in stock.

add $11,000 to the base price of the engine / model you choose...
no credit for leaving the Powerglide behind |
Re: COPO with a stick ?
Perhaps the folks in Milford can dig deep and find, in someone’s barn, the original 3-speed crashbox out of the Monster Mash 55 Chevy Stocker?
I mean…all the other COPO vehicles have that 50+ year old Powerglide in them. By the way, General Motors, if you wish to know how to make a crashbox out of those ancient transmissions, there are still folks out there that know how. |

Re: COPO with a stick ?
I'll bet they got a pretty good handle on it. I went 9.70's at 141 with a stock 6 speed untouched in my camaro at 3451 pounds and never broke it! These copos can probably run 8's n/a in good air. I'll bet the stick will absolutley fly!!!

I'm betting there will be Liberty's in those cars.
