Memorial Day
Many of us are veterans and for some of us our parents or children are also.
While your at a race, backyard BBQ, short vacation or skinning knuckles in the garage please take some time to think about those that will never enjoy those things and those who stand the line tonight so that we can live our lives in freedom. God Bless our troops, past and present! JimR |
Re: Memorial Day
Amen Jim! Thanks to all who gave up some of their freedom so we could enjoy ours. Thank you Dad, I miss you every day. Jim

Re: Memorial Day
It was a privilege to stand beside many who served, for those who never returned I pray for their families as they wait for the next life and joyful homecoming.

Re: Memorial Day
Thank you to all the veterans on here. You all help make this site my favorite.
I will be visiting my father at Pinelawn Military Cemetary where he has been layed since 1978. To young at 47, but fought in battle in Korea in 1950, 51. A very proud American and Irishman he was,and taught me well in our few years together. Of course I will drive my Buick GS 455 to show off the new engine to him my good friend James Antonette built for me. Then off to The AirPower museum to see the Veterans take ride in vintage War Planes. Thanks again to you all. Chris O'Keefe. God Bless America, and all its Veterans. |
Re: Memorial Day
Just saying "Thank You" to those men and women who gave up their futures to protect and defend us never quite seems enough. Memorial Day was established to remember our fellow Citizens, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who paid the ultimate price to allow us to live in the greatest country on the face of the Earth. Never forget them!

Re: Memorial Day
Thans to all who served our great nation, despite some of its politics. We're still number one in the world because you helped keep it that way. My friend Eddie (Eddie's 66) is a supporter and a volunteer for the Wounded Warrier Project, a fine organization if there ever was one. If you want to serve others out of respect and recognition of their sacrifices, find a worthwhile place like that to put some of your efforts. Again, thank you one and all.
